Enrollment in the first year of secondary education in the academic year 2021/2022 starts on Monday. According to the Competition of the Ministry of Education and Science, there are 30,053 places available in public high schools in 913 classes in 109 high schools.
Students who are referred to corrective exams, exam of the year, exams for faster progress, can enroll in schools where there are vacancies after the June deadline, i.e. on August 23, 2021.
Out of the total number of vacancies in the first year of high school, 19,602 are in vocational education in 604 classes, 9261 in high school education in 274 classes and 1190 places in 35 classes are for schools of art education, sports academy, sports high school and mathematics and informatics high school.
