After Thursday’s meeting with his Bulgarian counterpart Stefan Yanev, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev announced the reopening of the Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia.
“The Republic of North Macedonia will reopen the Constitution, our intention is to list all the minorities that live and are represented in the country. We must have a European Constitution,” said Zaev.
Regarding the historical issues and the historical commission, Zaev said that even if there are no points of convergence, we should make them up.
“I encourage the historical commission. He is doing a great job and an agreement has already been reached for 5-6 historical characters. Decisions are made in accordance with the materials heard and obtained from both parties. Even if there are no points of rapprochement, we should make them up,” Zaev noted.
