We will without hesitation block the law on environmental tax, using all existing democratic mechanisms and prevent its adoption in Parliament, said VMRO-DPMNE MP Timcho Mucunski on Friday.
“In case the majority continues to do what it does best, and it is violent and out of procedure to pass another law that hits the pockets of the citizens, then the priority of the new government led by VMRO-DPMNE will be a complete revision of all anti -market policies, including high taxes. Our solution is simple, the citizens will feel real effects by reducing taxes and duties to the government, as well as unconditional abolition of the so-called environmental tax,” said Mucunski.
According to the MP, instead of the state taking care of investments in green projects, the Government intends to charge every citizen and every company in order to finance projects that will not achieve any significant effect, except perhaps to justify the rebranding of one of their coalition partners
