Small and medium enterprises are crucial for achieving sustainable economic growth. They are an important factor in maintaining competitiveness and achieving economic prosperity, but at the same time they are most vulnerable to shocks, as in the case of the pandemic crisis, due to which all active actors should work to create a good business environment to support and develop these legal entities, says Head of the Association of Chambers of Commerce DanelaArsovska.
The Association of Chambers of Commerce informs that Arsovska at an international conference said that it is necessary to create a serious strategy for development and sustainability of these companies, which will provide specific measures and activities with set deadlines for implementation.
“With the implementation of the strategy, a significant increase in the number of SMEs dealing with sustainable business practices should be achieved, as well as an increase in the number of SMEs using digital technologies. Every country needs to act to become a more attractive place for entrepreneurship and enable small businesses to grow and develop. “This is especially crucial in the post-pandemic period, because small and medium-sized enterprises are the key to overcoming the crisis faster and achieving sustainable economic development,” said Arsovska.
