The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) warns that the Regional Roaming Agreement in the Western Balkans is clear and that roaming costs from July 1 this year should be zero, i.e. no roaming charges.
“Concerned citizens keep calling us and say that certain operators do not inform them that from July 1, 2021 there are no more roaming charges, that the messages are unspecified and complicated, especially those related to the use of mobile data, i.e. the Internet. We call on telecom operators and national regulators to provide adequate reporting and implementation of the agreement. In addition, citizens are advised to contact their operators for additional information,” says RCC.
