Ministry of Foreign Affairs sends a protest note to UEFA, whose website reads ‘North Macedonians’

Тhe Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it had sent a protest note to UEFA, on whose official website where the federations are represented, besides the name FFM, President Muhamed Sejdini and Secretary General Filip Popovski are registered as being of North Macedonian nationality.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs constantly takes care of the correct use of the name of the country, citizenship, and ethnicity of the citizens of Macedonia. As we have reacted appropriately to all international media, ethnicities, etc., who have misused any of these terms, so we have reacted to UEFA, demanding the correct use of these terms, in accordance with the Constitution and the ID card of the country in the United Nations,” said the Ministry.
