The Ministry of Education and Science and the Government continue with the preparation of digital learning materials despite the withdrawal of the draft law on textbooks from the parliamentary procedure. The reforms will start according to the established plan from September in the first and fourth grade, stated Minister of Education and Science Mila Carovska.

The Minister pointed out that the Government and the Ministry do not budge on the new law on textbooks, therefore, despite the fact that the expert public was heard, it will once again be put on public debate.

“We will continue with the implementation of the reforms. The world is changing so fast that textbooks are becoming obsolete, so it is not a question of whether or not we want digital textbooks, but that we must introduce them,” said Carovska.
