Students from October will receive financial support for a subsidized student meal. The funds will be paid directly to a personal account, which will give them the opportunity to use them not only in catering facilities but also in markets. This novelty is foreseen due to the pandemic and possible restrictive measures in autumn, said Minister of Education and Science Mila Carovska.
The financial support for the subsidized student meal on a monthly basis is 2,400 denars. The projections for 2021/2022 are that it will be used by about 40,000 students.
