Health Minister Venko Filipche, after the inspection newly-renovated orthopedic unit within the University Clinic for Traumatology, Orthopedic Diseases, Anesthesia, Resuscitation, Intensive Care and Emergency Center, once again urged citizens to get vaccinated, so as not to put themselves in an unpleasant situation when they come in contact with the virus.
“Citizens should be aware that if they don’t get vaccinated, they could end up in hospital and have severe complications. If we face a new wave, there will be restrictions from September. We cannot suffer if someone is not vaccinated. A high percentage of those infected are unvaccinated, and we are still far from a herd immunity of 80 percent,” said Filipche.
