The opposition VMRO-DPMNE sent a response to Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi with exactly the same form of a no-confidence motion against him, i.e. again without the suffix “North” in the country’s name, because he believes that the parliamentary speaker unjustifiably returned it.
Xhaferi sent the motion back referring to Article 136 of the Rules of Procedure, i.e. the non-use of the constitutional name, and the coordinator of the parliamentary group of the largest opposition party, Nikola Micevski, says that it was unfounded.
VMRO-DPMNE, with the support of the Levica party, filed a no-confidence motion against Xhaferi because he addressed the European Parliament in Albanian language unconstitutionally, despite the fact that the official language for international use is Macedonian.
