CMC head StojancheAngelov strongly denied the rumors about the insufficient involvement of his teams during yesterday’s fire in Kochani.
As Angelov pointed out, the most important thing is that human lives are saved, adding that this is always the focus of his function.
“What non-engagement of the CMC are we talking about? Yesterday I had a day off and went to Krushevo. I wanted to celebrate our biggest holiday. We could not have predicted that a fire would break out. Yesterday we had 14 such fires. No matter where I am, I need a phone and the team from the CMC that went out on the field as a man yesterday. It is an insult to claim that the CMC did not take any action. We did more than that. Should we risk our pilots for someone else’s painful ambitions? The trees will grow again, they will come back to us. What’s important was that human lives were saved,” Angelov said.
