FVA withdraws ice cream products due to the presence of ethylene oxide

The Food and Veterinary Agency (FVA) has ordered ALMA M company to immediately withdraw all imported ice cream products from the Macedonian market due to the presence of ethylene oxide.

Kit Kat ice cream stick imported from France, Milka ice cream vanilla and chocolate stick and Milka ice cream chocolate and hazelnuts stick imported from Poland are being recalled.

In the press release, the FVA informs that withdrawal of the ice creams is due to high levels of ethylene oxide which constitutes a serious risk to human health.

The FVA alerts the public not to buy these products and advises users who have recently purchased these affected products, to refrain from consuming them, and return them to wherever they bought them from.
