The country recorded 378 new cases out of 7,647 COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours.
Of these, 118 new cases were registered in Skopje, followed by Tetovo – 114, Gostivar – 51, Kichevo – 20, Kumanovo – 18, Strumica – 16, Bitola – 9, Ohrid – 9, Kavadarci – 6, Veles – 4, Kochani – 3, Struga – 2, Radovish – 2, Prilep – 1, Shtip – 1, Resen – 1, Berovo – 1, Vinica – 1, and Makedonski Brod – 1.
Twenty-five coronavirus patients recovered, and one patient from Skopje, aged 71, died in the same period, the Ministry of Health said on Saturday.
Since the onset of the epidemic, N. Macedonia has registered 157,627 confirmed coronavirus cases and 150,506 people have recovered. The death toll has reached 5,503. At the moment, there are 1,618 active cases nationwide.
