The country recorded 398 new cases out of 6,383 COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours.
Of these, 136 new cases were registered in Skopje, followed by Tetovo – 86, Gostivar – 46, Kumanovo – 23, Kichevo – 23, Bitola – 15, Ohrid – 13, Strumica – 13, Debar – 10, Struga – 6, Kavadarci – 5, Kochani – 4, Prilep – 3, Valandovo – 3, Veles – 2, Shtip – 2, Sveti Nikole – 2, Resen – 2, Radovish – 1, Delchevo – 1, Probishtip – 1, and Makedonski Brod – 1.
Eighteen coronavirus patients recovered, and four patients, including three from Kumanovo (aged 29, 49 and 74) and one from Gostivar (aged 78), died in the same period, the Ministry of Health said on Sunday.
Since the onset of the epidemic, N. Macedonia has registered 158,025 confirmed coronavirus cases and 150,524 people have recovered. The death toll has reached 5,507. At the moment, there are 1,994 active cases nationwide.
