VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski, along with the member of the Executive Committee of VMRO-DPMNE Stefan Andonovski, on Friday met Regional Director of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Daniel Brown and Davor Pashovski, a representative of KAS Macedonia.

The current political and economic situation was discussed at the meeting, as well as the situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the new situation with the refugees from Afghanistan.

The leader of VMRO-DPMNE stressed that Macedonia has no capacity and is not ready to receive so many people from Afghanistan because the government led by SDSM cannot provide living conditions for Macedonian citizens, let alone for others. The state is sinking in all fields, especially in the field of economy where costs are rising and citizens have less money or are losing jobs as businesses close.

Regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, Mickoski pointed out that the government delayed the procurement of vaccines and delayed the immunization process for months due to personal interests, to now take measures that further create divisions in society that deprive some citizens of basic rights and freedoms, and they are badly reflected in the business, which is barely surviving this period.
