Healthcare professionals should share views based on scientifically proven facts and refrain from promoting and sharing speculation and unverified information. It is always important, especially in conditions of a pandemic, for health professionals to be guided in their activities by the Code of Ethics, the Law on Health Care and evidence-based medicine, distancing themselves from any political or any other kind of influence, the Medical Chamber said Wednesday after views of anti-vaccine doctors have emerged in the public eye.

According to the chamber, every healthcare worker has a significant role in creating public opinion and through public sharing of personal views and opinions influences the building of views and opinions of other people.
