If the members of a household to be enumerated are not at home, then the census takers would leave a timeline when they will come back. They will also leave a telephone number in case the person is not able to be at home during the specified period, to make an appointment with the census taker when the census can be conducted.
“This is a technique that we have used in all censuses so far and has always proven to be successful. There is no possibility for anyone to be left out and no one will sit at home for 26 days to wait for enumerators, but normally perform their daily duties,” said the State Statistical Office Director Apostol Simevski.
