The Ministry of Health announced on Friday the analysis of vaccinated, from positive COVID-19 cases, in the period from August 6 to September 9. Vaccinated are those who have been vaccinated with two doses and at least 14 days have passed since receiving the second dose of the vaccine.
In the period from 06.08 to 09.09.2021 on the territory of the country 26,053 citizens tested positive to COVID-19, of which 19% were fully vaccinated, i.e. 5,175 people.
There is a large number of unvaccinated citizens who became infected with COVID-19. According to statistics for the past five weeks, 20,878 citizens, or even 80% of those positive for the coronavirus were not vaccinated. The percentage of hospitalized people who are not vaccinated is 84%, while only 16% of all currently hospitalized patients are fully vaccinated.
