Today I want to announce that the Parliamentary Group of VMRO-DPMNE and the coalition will submit a draft decision to dismiss Health Minister Venko Filipce due to poor management of the health crisis which culminated in the tragic case of the newly built modular hospital in Tetovo which caught on fire and unfortunately took 15 lives, said VMRO-DPMNE MP Antonio Miloshoski at Monday’s press conference.

The opposition MP pointed out that this draft decision is based on Article 68 of the Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia, and a similar draft decision Miloshoski said was submitted by those who today criticize it, ie the parliamentary groups of SDSM and NSDP in 2013, October 25 based on this member submitted a draft decision for dismissal of this constitutional norm.

“Parliament Spekaer Mr. Talat Xhaferi said that he will reject such a proposal decision as unfounded, we have a question for Mr. Xhaferi. Was Mr. Xhaferi elected by the citizens we are supposed to protect or was he elected to protect the ministers? After such a catastrophe like the burning of the hospital in Tetovo, we believe that Talat Xhaferi should be put in the role of protecting the citizens and finally express political will for the resignation of Venko Filipche to be confirmed in the Parliament because after such a catastrophe, the least the Parliament should do for the citizens is to confirm the resignation of Filipche, and then the investigative bodies to conduct their work on whether and who bears criminal responsibility,” said the MP.
