Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani informed today that he has formed a working group within the Ministry, whose task is to work on the accession of the Republic of Macedonia to the US Visa Waiver Program.
The visa waiver process for our nationals to enter the United States is a long and complex process, but given our commitment to strengthening the existing alliance, the conditions are in place to begin this process. The biggest confirmation of that is our country’s accession to the NATO Alliance, but also the progress achieved in the field of security, as a complement to our strategic partnership with the United States, Osmani wrote on Facebook.
The Minister added that the successful completion of this process requires long-term and dedicated work, and achieving this goal will be of benefit to the citizens of the two friendly countries.
