Foreign Minister BujarOsmani says the basis for the talks remains the proposal made during the German presidency, which is similar to that of the Portuguese presidency, which Slovenia has now taken over as the current presidency of the Union.
“I have said several times that the Portuguese proposal is similar to the previous German proposal, similarly the Slovenian presidency is taking over, so as not to create confusion as to whose proposal we say it is the presidency proposal and the presidency proposal is still the basis for overcoming differences. Despite the bilateral talks we are having on both sides regarding overcoming the differences,” Osmani said.
