Bulgaria cannot ask Macedonia to include an insignificant Bulgarian minority in the Constitution, and on the other hand the Macedonian minority in Bulgaria is not included in the Bulgarian Constitution and has no rights, there must be measures of reciprocity, VMRO-DPMNE leader HristijanMickoskitold the Kanal 5 TV News.

“Radev said in his statement on Thursday that at the beginning of November they would receive a protocol and if that protocol interacts with the framework of the Bulgarian Parliament and be included in the negotiating framework, then they would support the negotiation process, including an amendment to include Bulgarian minority in Macedonia, insignificant Bulgarian minority in Macedonia within the Constitution,” said Mickoski.

Mickoski stressed that in order for Bulgaria’s request to pass in the Macedonian Parliament a two-thirds majority is needed, which Zaev does not have, and VMRO-DPMNE will not allow it to pass if the Macedonians in Bulgaria are not included in the Bulgarian Constitution in turn.
