The roadmap and 5+1 issue as a possible solution to the dispute was mentioned yesterday by the high representatives of the European Union. The roadmap should be ready by the beginning of November, and it should contain solutions, which should be fulfilled in the entire negotiation process.
The lack of decision on the opening of negotiations with N. Macedonia and Albania is jeopardizing EU’s standing in the region, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen told a news conference.
She stressed that the European Commission has been working intensively on finding key issues in the bilateral topics between Bulgaria and North Macedonia. “It is 5+1 issue and we will make sure it is in the roadmap, as a practical step to solve problems,” the top EU official said.
