In the local elections, VMRO-DPMNE is represented by a brilliant young team full of energy, according to EPP President Donald Tusk. He sent a message of support to the ruling party five days before the elections in Macedonia in which new mayors are elected.
“As your committed and loyal ally, I now and always call on you to go to the polls and cast your vote for the VMRO-DPMNE candidates. I support your country as Prime Minister of Poland and President of the European Council, I support you today and I will continue to support you in the future. You deserve the highest standards, respect and an efficient state. I am really impressed by the positive changes that are happening in VMRO-DPMNE under the leadership of Hristijan Mickoski. In the local elections, the party is represented by a brilliant young team full of energy. These are new people in the world of politics who are both honest and competent. It is certainly your choice, but as your friend who always supports the Macedonians in their efforts for a better future, I want to tell you that if I had voted with you in this election, I would have chosen VMRO-DPMNE without hesitation. Of course the decision is yours. Your future is in your hands,” Tusk said in a statement.
VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski thanked Tusk, pointing out that all together will create a new future for Macedonia.
