The State Election Commission is ready to conduct the local elections that will be held on Sunday, SEC President Aleksandar Dashtevski told Kurir.
Confidential material containing ballots and excerpts from the voter list was distributed in all municipalities yesterday.
“All election materials were handed over yesterday without any problems. Nothing is missing anywhere. Today, vans and devices for biometric identification of voters are delivered and this process is coming to an end,” says Dashtevski.
The SEC head points out that on Sunday, the State Election Commission will regularly inform about the turnout in the planned sections.
The ballots are protected with over 20 protections. It is not possible to falsify them, nor to transfer ballots from one polling station to another because all ballots are marked and protected
