The Ministry of Health will start to inform the public on a weekly basis about the deceased due to complications from COVID- 19 who were fully vaccinated, what kind of chronic diseases the deceased had, and how many of the deceased were vaccinated, as well as the type of vaccine they received. Persons who have received two doses of vaccine, and more than 14 days have passed since the revaccination are considered fully vaccinated.
In the period from 08.10 to 14.10.2021, 105 COVID-19 patients have died, of which over 75% were unvaccinated. Of the total number of patients who died between 8.10 and 14.10, only 26 patients who died of COVID- 19 were vaccinated. Only one of the deceased patients had no chronic disease and was 80 years old.
