So far, a total of 1,357,742 COVID-19 tests have been performed in Macedonia. The total number of COVID-diagnosed persons in our country since the beginning of the epidemic is 199,057, the number of recovered patients is 185,931.
From the beginning of the pandemic until Saturday, COVID-19 took 7,019 victims in Macedonia.
The number of active cases is 6,107. Most of them are from the capital Skopje.
With over 7,000 citizens dying of the novel coronavirus, Macedonia is ranks first among countries in terms of mortality of the population from COVID-19.
According to the global coronavirus site Worldometers, Macedonia is third in the world in the number of deaths per 1 million inhabitants, i.e. 3,369 victims per million inhabitants.
