The Skopje Universal Hall has been closed for five years, there have been no developments for five years, but that does not mean that Skopje Mayor Petre Shilegov and his friend Filip Avramchev, appointed by Shilegov as director of the Universal Hall, did not see a good chance for illogical spending of 100,000 euros, VMRO-DPMNE spokesperson Naum Stoilkovski told a press conference on Saturday.

Stoilkovski reminded the public that the Universal Hall has been closed for five years and is failing apart, that in that period nothing happened and for years he rents and pays for event equipment worth over 100,000 euros, while buying sound and light equipment for 6,500 euros .

“In 2019, the Universal Hall provides 52,381 euros for ‘Technical support and rental of technical equipment for sound and lighting events organized by the Universal Hall’. That is, he rents equipment, pays over 52 thousand euros for equipment, lighting and sound system, even though the Universal Hall is closed and there are no events, “said the VMRO-DPMNE spokesperson.
