Incumbent mayor of Gostivar from the ranks of the Alliance for Albanians (AA), Arben Taravari declared a convincing victory in the municipality of Gostivar.
The mayor said that the residents of Gostivar voted unanimously and decided for the Alliance of Albanians and Alternativa to lead the municipality in the next four years.I received 18,000 votes, and Ali Ahmeti about 12,000 votes. We had opponents from the whole government who were in Gostivar these two weeks, but in any case, if they want another round, we will go to another one,” Taravari said.
