The inaugural “easyJet” flight from Geneva landed at the International Airport Skopje on Monday afternoon, thus launching the operations of the low-cost airline at the Macedonian market.

“The Macedonian capital will be linked to the Swiss city three times a week, every Monday, Thursday and Friday. This is the first route of the low-cost airline from the Skopje airport, a decision taken despite the global aviation crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the fact that many countries still have air travel restrictions,” said TAV Macedonia general manager MetinBatak.

Geneva, Zurich and Basel are now the three destinations in Switzerland from the Skopje-based airport.
