The results of the local elections in Macedonia showed that our brothers are voting stubbornly there, without a clear perspective, as in Bulgaria. This is not strange given the indisputable fact that we are one nation. However, such a vote is simply a protest, not a solution to problems. On the contrary, it even deepens them, writes the Bulgarian politician Krasimir Karakachanov on Facebook.
In his post he says that Macedonia is entering a dangerous turbulence, in which they have been for more than half a year.
“Of course, we are concerned about the election triumph of DPMNE – those who talked about breaking agreements, returning the inscriptions on the memorial plaques in RNM, defining our country as a fascist occupier and calling for a comprehensive EU diplomatic offensive against Bulgaria,” reads Karakachanov’s status.
