The best solution for Macedonia is a snap election that will ensure a stable government tackling the current problems and getting the country out of the crisis that the incumbent corrupt authorities have created, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski told a press conference on Wednesday.

“It is an indisputable fact that VMRO-DPMNE and the coalition we led in the local elections is the absolute winner.
We won in 42 municipalities, plus the city of Skopje, if we take into account that we led in Mavrovo Rostuse, but the elections failed there due to the census, then there are 43 municipalities plus the city of Skopje. The difference of the councilor lists in the first round of the elections compared to SDSM is more than 55 thousand votes, if we take into account the differences between the first and the second round with which VMRO-DPMNE won, then we come to a difference of 110 thousand votes.

“The legitimate question to ask now is whether we will form a new majority with the current Parliament or hold early elections and elect a Government with fresh credibility that will respond to the reality on the ground”, Mickoski said.
