I expected the resignation of the entire leadership in solidarity with Zaev, said SDSM’s former Secretary General Aleksandar Kiracovski.
“The party should be open to new people who will be able and willing to contribute, but it should be based on principle. A leader of political caliber is not created overnight. That person should possess courage, wisdom and vision. It will be difficult to find a replacement. Regarding the resignations, I expected a complete resignation from the leadership, primarily from solidarity with Zaev. Although, the leader conditionally said himself emphasized that he feels most responsible for the events, he is not the only one responsible,” says Kiracovski.
