In the period Aug. 6 – Nov. 25, 69% of people who tested positive for COVID-19 were unvaccinated, and 20% were vaccinated. Of the COVID-19 fatalities, 79% were unvaccinated, and 21% were vaccinated, shows the Ministry of Health’s analysis released on Friday.
“In the period Aug. 6 – Nov. 25, a total of 58,276 people tested positive for COVID-19. Of those, 17,896 (31%) were fully vaccinated. According to statistics, 40,380 people (69%) of those who tested positive for COVID-19 were unvaccinated,” reads the analysis.
“In the period Aug. 6 – Nov. 25, a total of 1,788 people died in the country of COVID-19 complications. Of those, 1,571 patients (79%) weren’t vaccinated and only 21% (415) were vaccinated,” the Ministry says.
