22 more COVID-19 patients added to the country’s death toll

Macedonia registered 118 new COVID-19 cases after 1,245 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same period, 18 deaths and 396 recoveries were reported, the Ministry of Health said on Monday.

Of the new cases, 93 were registered in Skopje, followed by Kavadarci – 11, Bitola – 5, Prilep – 2, Struga – 2, Kumanovo – 1, Veles – 1, Kriva Palanka – 1, Kratovo – 1, and Bogdanci – 1.

Eighteen deaths were registered in the past 24 hours, including six in Skopje (aged 63, 68, 70, 71, 72, and 89), two in Probishtip (aged 60 and 67), two in Negotino (aged 66 and 90), one in Bitola (aged 81), one in Demir Hisar (aged 87), one in Kochani (aged 78), one in Kratovo (aged 79), and one in Shtip (aged 65).

At the moment, 8,096 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,468,996 tests, recording 215,125 COVID-19 cases and 199,460 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,569.
