MPs from several parties will meet today in the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia regarding the reforms of the election rules.
According to the announcements, among other things, they should discuss the possibility for the Republic of Macedonia to be one constituency, but also to eliminate the systemic advantage of the four largest parties.
The possibility for the country to be one constituency for a longer period of time is advocated by smaller political parties who believe that the current electoral model with six constituencies does not allow valorization of the total number of votes they win at the national level.
