We do not need early general elections because the country needs to resolve the problems it faces, including the dispute with Bulgaria, DUI leader Ali Ahmeti said on Monday.
“I think that at this time we do not need early general elections, but we need to solve the problems we are facing. I would like to emphasize that if we want a stable, sustainable, progressive situation in the direction of the Euro-Atlantic processes, we must resolve the dispute or differences we have regarding the Good Neighborliness Treaty. I think the issues have moved forward. So far, we have taken into account the difficulties faced by Bulgaria in the elections, with the delay in the formation of the new Government and Parliament, therefore I think that the differences are melting down,” Ahmeti said.
