Citizens to pay more expensive heating bills starting Saturday

The price of central heating that is valid starting Saturday, January 1 will increase by 14.05 percent for all customers in the City of Skopje, i.e. for the three companies that supply the citizens – Balkan Energy Group (BEG), ESM Energetika and Skopje North, decided yesterday the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).

As ERC President Marko Bislimovski informed, the basic criterion for forming the price of central heating is the price of natural gas, which last year averaged around $ 240 per normal cubic meter, and this year BEG production was offered a price of $ 1,480.
