President Stevo Pendarovski and a Parliament delegation laid flowers at former President Kiro Gligorov’s grave at the Butel cemetery on Saturday.
Saturday marks the 10th anniversary from the death of first president of independent Republic of Macedonia Kiro Gligorov.
Gligorov will be remembered as an active participant in the most important processes for political independence of our country. With his leadership skills, moderation, wisdom and diplomacy he made an exceptional contribution to the international recognition and establishment of the country and paved the way for the fulfillment of strategic goals.
