Orthodox Christian believers in the country tomorrow celebrate Christmas Eve, the day before the great holiday of the Nativity of Christ – Christmas.

The Macedonian people celebrate these holidays with a lot of attention and respect. Christmas is a feast of the Lord and is celebrated in remembrance of the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. This holiday is the mother of all other church holidays, because with the birth of Christ is considered the beginning of a new era.

On Christmas Eve, families gather for a joint dinner and according to the custom, no guests are invited that evening. A rich, lean dinner is served for the family.
