President Stevo Pendarovski had a telephone conversation on Friday with the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev.
President Pendarovski congratulated President Radev on taking office and wished him a successful term.
The two presidents discussed the latest developments in bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries in light of the Bulgarian Prime Minister’s recent visit to Skopje, as well as upcoming activities in Sofia.
In that context, President Pendarovski welcomed the established dialogue between the two governments and stressed the readiness of the Republic of Macedonia for its intensification in the coming period.
In order to strengthen the dialogue between the two countries, the two presidents discussed the possibility of an official visit of President Pendarovski to Sofia soon, as well as the intensification of communication at the highest level in the coming period.
