Due to the deterioration of the COVID-19 situation in the Republic of Kosovo, its authorities yesterday adopted a new decision that immediately entered into force Saturday, and which strengthens the regime for Macedonian nationals that want to enter the country.

Starting Saturday, Kosovo will ban Macedonian citizens from entering unless they have received three doses of a coronavirus vaccine, or two doses and a PCR test. Unvaccinated people need to submit a PCR test and a doctor’s note proving they have health reasons to avoid the vaccine.

Minors up to 12 years of age are exempt from this decision, as are passengers who merely transit through Kosovo for less than three hours.
