Amending the agenda, with an item for a draft law amending the law on the Government of the Republic of Macedonia by summary procedure, requested the coordinator of the VMRO-DPMNE MP group Nikola Micevski at Wednesday’s parliamentary session.
“Based on Article 71, paragraph 1 of the Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia and Articles 132, 137 and 170, I request this point to be supplemented for one and only reason. Namely, the proposal for amending the law on the Government of the Republic of Macedonia removes the provisions that refer to the manner of functioning of the government, or the so-called Przhino Government. We believe that this provision and what emerged from the joint talks at the leadership meeting between the presidents of VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM and what SDSM said that the Przhino government is dysfunctional, and what we have discussed with other political entities as a parliamentary group of VMRO-DPMNE and the Coalition are submitting this bill for one and only reason to shorten, i.e. to return the deadlines for organizing elections, the deadline to remain as it was,” said Micevski.
