The Ministry of Interior discovered 410 migrants from Cuba from January to October 2021, and since the beginning of 2022, another 17 Cubans have been registered who wanted to reach an EU member state through the country, mostly in Greece.
According to the Ministry of Interior, Cuban migrants enter the country from Serbia and after crossing our territory they want to continue in Greece. Most of the migrants from Cuba are economic and they intend to leave for EU countries.
“Migrants from Cuba do not stay in our country and most often their final destination is one of the EU member states,” say the police.
