SDSM missed another opportunity to say at least what they saw disputed in the draft Declaration that VMRO-DPMNE submitted to the Parliament on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Goce Delchev, says VMRO-DPMNE MP Ivanka Vasilevska on Tuesday.
“SDSM should say whether it is disputable for them to carry out activities in schools that will acquaint students even more with the deed and work of Goce Delchev, or that the Institute of National History and the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts are called to organize scientific gatherings or, the call to the media with appropriate content to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Goce Delchev? No aspect of the Declaration is disputable and aims to unite all stakeholders in society around the significance of Delchev’s character and work in the revolutionary struggle for Macedonian statehood,” Vasilevska said.
The MP stressed that, unfortunately, not only unity has not been achieved, but on the contrary, with the statements coming from SDSM to withdraw the said Declaration, a division is made between the citizens and divides the people on this topic.
“This raises serious doubts that Kovachevski is negotiating on Goce Delchev, and thus for the entire revolutionary struggle for Macedonian statehood,” Vasilevska said.
