The minimum union consumers’ basket for January this year is 35,811 denars, or almost 510 euros and has increased by 770 denars compared to December 2021, informs the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia (SSM).
The union consumers’ basket determines the minimum living expenses of a family of four on a monthly basis. In it, food and beverages have the largest share of 42.77 percent, housing 31.97 percent, hygiene is represented with 6.74 percent, transportation with 7.41 percent, clothing and footwear with 6.05 percent, culture with 2, 98 percent and health maintenance with 2.08 percent.
