Dr. Andon Chibishev claims that one of the new recommended measures of the Commission for Infectious Diseases is a premature, hasty and wrong decision.
“Pregnant women who have been relieved of their work responsibilities to return to work. Pregnant women are a special group of patients who are in a special physical, psychological and health condition that should be under absolute observation of state institutions. From the beginning of the pandemic until today, experiences have shown that they are more exposed to coronavirus infection, develop a serious clinical picture and unfortunately some of them lost their lives due to complications from COVID-19 infection,” says Chibishev.
The doctor thinks that his colleagues of the Infectious Diseases Commission should reconsider their decision.
