Number of COVID-19 cases declining – decision revoke COVID certificates pending

The trend in N. Macedonia of decreasing the number of new COVID-19 cases continues, as well as the number of active cases of the coronavirus.

Out of 3,148 tests in the last 24 hours, 370 new cases of COVID-19 were registered, of which 51 were reinfection. Three people died, and seven more were reported deceased according to the register “My term”, with nine of the deceased having comorbidities.

The General Coordination Headquarters and the Government should comment on the recommendation of the Commission for Infectious Diseases to abolish the certificates mandatory for entering the malls, where it is not mandatory to wear face masks. Also, regarding the recommendation for abolition of mandatory negative PCR test, recovery certificate of vaccination certificate upon leaving the country, as well as abolition of the work release for pregnant women.
