With the new package of 26 measures, the Government offered sound solutions in order to mitigate the consequences. The Government has allocated 400 million euros from the budget to support citizens and companies.
“In that direction, 35,000 citizens from the most vulnerable categories will receive subsidies or vouchers worth 1,000 denars, for three months, for the purchase of basic food products. Within the social dialogue, direct financial assistance is provided for about 330 thousand pensioners, so that the oldest citizens will receive an additional 3,000 denars for three months, or 1,000 denars more with the March, April and May pensions.
