The Cooperation Council between the Government and the NGOs requests a Budget review in order to provide funds for the realization of the Draft Program for financing the program activities of the associations and foundations of the General Secretariat of the Government for 2022, otherwise they announce that they boycott the work of the advisory body.
“The Council requests urgent implementation of the budget rebalance and to provide additional 15 million denars in the budget of the General Secretariat of the Government on item 463 for transfers to non-governmental organizations that will be distributed to civil society organizations through public announcement, according to the Draft Financing Program of the program activities of the associations and foundations for 2022. If the position of the Government is not changed and an urgent rebalance of the Budget is not approached, the members of the Council from the ranks of civil society organizations will boycott the work of this advisory body until the final resolution of this issue,” said Council President FaniKaranfilova-Panovska at Thursday’s press conference in front of the Government.
Karanfilova-Panovska stressed that the Council does not agree with the suspension of the procedure for adoption of the Draft-Program for financing the program activities of the associations and foundations of the General Secretariat of the Government for 2022, which was a practice for more than 10 years.
